Supporting Wounded Warriors: T-Shirts Sales Benefit Special Ops Combat Personnel

Within the United States military, there exists a unique group of approximately 60,000 soldiers known as Special Operations Forces who come from the all branches of the military—Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. In the ongoing war on terrorism, these specially trained teams are conducting more missions, in more places, and under a broader range of conditions than ever before. For that reason, Special Ops personnel sustain a high rate of casualties, both in operations and training.
In 1980, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) was founded. According to their mission statement, their goal is to provide “full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.” More than $1,000,000 has been provided by the Foundation.
US Navy SEAL store is partnering with SOWF to raise money, with a goal of $10,000. A Special Operation t-shirt has been created to proudly show support for these valiant soldiers who risked their lives for our country. With each t-shirt sold, $10 will go to Special Operations Warrior Foundation to support these heroes and their families.
Earlier this year, US Navy SEAL store successfully raised more than $10,000 for the Warrior Defense Fund.
