Gyminny Kids Introduces Motion Evolution; A Revolutionary Program for Children’s Fitness
As part of a national kick-off, North County Gymnastics & The Gyminny Kids will be conducting introductory Motion Evolution Camps beginning Thursday, July 29th and running through Friday, August 20th for children 5 years to Teen.
North County Gymnastics & The Gyminny Kids, a recreational gymnastics instruction facility located in Rancho Bernardo since 1987, has been granted the area’s first license to conduct youth fitness classes under the international Motion Evolution banner.
Alongside many national health initiatives including “Let’s Move” spearheaded by First Lady Michelle Obama, the Motion Evolution program features a practical, progressive approach to improving children’s fitness attitudes for a lifetime.
In San Diego, local agencies such as schools, hospitals, and recreation departments are working together to follow the national lead. Motion Evolution programs provide the specific curriculum, logistics and marketing details for children, parents and licensees to achieve their goals.
Motion Evolution (MoEv for short) is a premier international authority in the youth fitness arena. The founding group has over 200 years of combined practical experience in the industry.
The program is administered by a distinguished group of children’s activity specialists, headed by Frank Sahlein, founder, who licenses these and other materials to children’s activity centers worldwide.
“We must improve the fitness awareness and physical literacy of our youth,” said Sahlein. “The difference in the Motion Evolution program is that the physical skills are balanced with the mental and emotional aspects so that the whole child is considered right from the very start.”
Each camp, students are taught a new lesson created by the Motion Evolution curriculum team. “The only criteria that Motion Evolution uses are individual best,” said Sahlein. “The children are encouraged to improve, of course, but at the pace and style that best suits them.” North County Gymnastics & The Gyminny Kids is proud to bring this program to San Diego!
