6th Annual Ses Pro-Am Fundraiser Draws Top Tennis Pro’s and Am’s to Rancho Valencia

Fundraising Tennis Tournament Eduardo I. Sanchez, Head Tennis Professional at Rancho Valencia, an Auberge Resort, is organizing the 6th Annual SES Pro-Am Fundraising Tennis Tournament to be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the Rancho Valencia resort located at 5921 Valencia Circle, Rancho Santa Fe, California.

Proceeds will provide the children of Tecate, Mexico, with access to free tennis lessons, tennis equipment and academic scholarships and support the efforts of the Empty Cradle, a San Diego non-profit organization that helps parents cope with the loss of an infant before, during or after birth. There are currently 500 children enrolled in free tennis lessons at the SES Tennis Center, which has grown to include four regulation-size tennis courts.

A highlight of the two-day event is a Sponsor Party on the evening of Friday, September 10, 2010, which this year is being held at the private residence of Jamie and Tony Carr in Rancho Santa Fe and includes a buffet dinner, silent auction and entertainment.

Tickets may be purchased for $75 per person to attend the Sponsor Party on September 10th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Pro-Am tickets are $75 per person. The tennis tournament at Rancho Valencia on September 11th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. will include a barbeque and trophy presentation. A combined ticket price of $125.00 is available to attend both events.

Sanchez, who was born and raised in the city of Tecate, accomplished a life-long dream to construct public tennis courts for use by all the citizens of Tecate, regardless of their ability to pay for lessons. He dedicated the project on June 4, 2004, in honor of his deceased son, Sean Eduardo.

Primary sponsors of the Pro-Am as of this printing include: Rancho Valencia; Geyser Holdings, Jamie and Tony Carr; San Diego Self Storage; Coffee Ambassador; the Plastic Surgery Practice of Smoot, Smoot, Sadrian and Hollan; Jet Methods and Union Bank of California Priority Banking.

For further information regarding the SES Tennis Center, or to purchase tickets to attend the events, call (858) 832-8297 or email sesproam@gmail.com. Details on the additional beneficiary, Empty Cradle, may be located at on the Empty Cradle website.
