NAWBO San Diego November Seminar Focuses on HR Issues

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) San Diego, which promotes, supports and educates women business owners in achieving success, announced today that it will continue its monthly seminar series on Friday, November 12 with a program presented by Cindy Sandback and Chris Parkes: “HR Risks…and How to Avoid Them.”  The seminar will be held at Brandman University, 7460 Mission Valley Road, from noon to 1 p.m.

Sandback and Parkes advocate for small business owners as representatives of Administaff, helping them produce greater revenue, contain costs and protect their profits. Their presentation will focus on trends in state employment practices/compliance hot buttons, ways to protect yourself and your business from employer-related fines and lawsuits, options for dealing with your HR issues, and the timeline for healthcare reform changes and impacts.

Pre-registration is required and seating is limited. NAWBO San Diego members can attend at no cost, while the fee for visitors is $25. Box lunches will be provided. Online registration and more information are available at
