Investigation Leads to Discovery of Body on Barona Indian Reservation; May Be That of Missing Youth

Since the reported disappearance of 17 year-old Christopher Cory Carioscia on October 27, detectives have focused this investigation on the Barona Indian Reservation, where Carioscia’s burned vehicle was found.
On the afternoon of December 4th, investigators following- up on potential leads in this case, went to a remote area on the Barona Reservation. It was there that they discovered the body of an as of yet unidentified male. The area was processed as a crime scene into late last night and continued into the morning.
