Start 2011 With a Full Stomach – San Diego Restaurant Week Returns in January

From downtown San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter to the beaches of La Jolla and Coronado and beyond, visitors to San Diego can celebrate the New Year with amazing deals at top restaurants during the 7th annual San Diego Restaurant Week, January 16-21, 2011.
The six-day celebration provides food lovers the opportunity to explore the region’s exciting dining scene for a fraction of the normal expense. Diners can enjoy special three-course, prix fixe dinner menus for just $20, $30 or $40 per person (beverages, tax and gratuity not included) at more than 180 participating restaurants.
Tickets or special passes are not required to take advantage of San Diego Restaurant Week. To enjoy the delicious discounted menus, visitors simply need to make reservations to dine between January 16 and 21 at any participating restaurant. Reservations are strongly recommended. More than 100,000 people turned out for the last San Diego Restaurant Week and even more are expected in January.
